Welcome back to the learn Excel podcast.
I'm Bill Jelen.
We're still here in Seattle, at the MVP summit and from all the way from Australia.
I have Andrew Anguarda, from "AndrewsExceltips.com".
Here's Andrew!
Andrew: Okay, hello! Decide to talk about utilities, I've made.
They're called JMTXL utilities.
They are professional version of Andrew's utilities.
So basically, they're set of utilities I've made to teach myself VBA, over the last two years.
As I mainly user rather than a developer.
These tools have been designed to make working with Excel faster.
MrExcel: Okay! So Andrew! What kinds of things will the utilities do?
Andrew: Okay! For example, you can highlight ranges without changing any formatting.
That's just by using...
How can we say transparent auto shapes.
MrExcel: Wow!
Andrew: Things like that.
MrExcel: That sounds really hard is it just a matter if they go to the menu and select a few items in it'll take care Of everything for you.
Andrew: Yeah, that's right. Yeah!
All they have to do is choose the color. That I'd like and will select the ranges and that's it.
Just push a button there you go.
MrExcel: That's pretty slick.
Andrew: Yeah!
MrExcel: How many utilities are there, total?
Andrew: Well as far as I can remember that is to about...
Let's see about, 70 main utilities then we have the userforms.
So we have several utilities per user form.
So, probably you're looking at about a hundred or so.
Its quite a few!
MrExcel: Ok! Now, what versions of Excel does it work with?
Andrew: Okay! Works with 97 through to 2003.
Now, we are working on a version for When that is out, we will upload it to our site, where with the main Excel versions that are out now, is fully compatible with them.
MrExcel: That's great!
Andrew: Okay!
MrExcel: So, where would someone go to buy the utility?
Andrew: Okay! They can go to my site, andrewsexceltips or they can go to my friend Colo's site, Masaru Kaji is his real name, colo's excel junk room or they can go directly to our consulting site which is JMTXL consulting.
MrExcel: Fantastic!
Great way to answer Thanks for coming on the podcast.
Andrew: Okay!
Welcome to the United States Glad you were able to come up for the summit and make sure have a safe trip back.
Andrew; Okay! Nice to meet you too Bill. Right okay!
Thanks so much, okay!
MrExcel: All right there we go Hey!
That was Andrew from Australia.
