If you have inherited a computer where someone has customized your toolbars, you might want to go back to the default, out-of-the-box set of toolbars. Episode 443 will show you how to reset your standard toolbar, the formatting toolbar, and your worksheet menu bar to undo any rogue customizations.

If you remember last Friday, Eric from shanghaied called in with a question, about how to customize the toolbar.
Specifically how to get a paste Formula's icon, on the toolbar.
And in the process of trying to figure that out, Somehow, I've managed to completely screw up my menu bar, where I no longer have paste special.
Paste special is pretty important, and it's really something that I cannot live without.
And Interesting the thing that I should have brought up on Friday anytime that you customize your toolbars.
If you find that you create some sort of a problem, either you added things you didn't want to add or you accidentally took things off the toolbar.
There is a way to get them back.
And I should have discussed that with you on Friday.
Just in case anyone happen to make the same mistake that I made.
Basically, we're going to go to either the menu bar or any Toolbar Right Click and choose Customize.
On Friday I talked about using the Commands Tab, and being able to drag new buttons to the Toolbar.
In this case, We don't want to use the commands to have we want to go back to the Toolbars Tab.
At the bottom of the list, there's something called worksheet menu bar.
If you choose worksheet menu bar, and then choose reset, say that you're sure.
Excel will now bring back all of the original items on the worksheet menu bar Just as it was when you reach like installed Excel.
So, there you can see my paste special is back.

And you now have the original sub toolbars, just as Microsoft intended.
