*Note: I told Bill that we were on Podcast #1622...but what I should have said is "The next Podcast will be #1623". Though today's Podcast is labeled as #1622...it is actually #1623.

Ok, now... Let's get to Today's Podcast!
SJ needs to rearrange Data in her Spreadsheet but, the Data is delivered with Formulas so Paste Special with the Transpose Function is not going to work. In Episode #1623, Bill shows us how to use the =TRANSPOSE Formula with the Data while maintaining the integrity of the Formula Driven results.

MrExcel podcast Episode 1622; Transpose with a formula.
All right, today's question comes from SJ.
SJ has data that looks like this, months going across.
Something going down, I don't know.
I made it be weeks and SJ says that her manager once the final report, to have the data going the other way, with months going down.
I said oh that's easy, pay special Transpose.
She says no no no...
The data back here is formulas and it's changing all the time, I can't just pay special Transpose.
All right, then we have to switch over to something really crazy, where it's like the entire range, where you want the answers to go.
We type of formula, equal TRANSPOSE, so there's actually a function called Transpose, it's an array formula, I'll come back here to the data and we'll select the range that we want to turn sideways.
I'll close the parentheses and then I'm gonna press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
Ctrl+Shift+Enter creates one single formula that returns all of those values and turns things sideways.
All right so, if we would come back here and change this to 9999.
You'll see that it does get updated, it's not a one-time thing, it's a live live formula.
Okay well, there you have.
A cool way to Transpose with a formula.
All right, thank you for stopping by. We'll see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
