Learn Excel From MrExcel, Podcast Episode 1499: New Improved Excel Help.
Hey. Welcome back to the MrExcel netcast. I’m Bill Jelen.
I tell you, I spend a lot of time making fun of Excel Help.
You know, someone says, well, where'd you find that?
I found it in Excel Help.
What?
What were you doing?
Why would you even go to Excel Help?
Ah, but, hey, Excel Help has gotten much, much better.
So, here, the question mark or F1, of course either one will get us out to Excel Help, and let's just search for something on HYPERLINKS NOT HOT and click search.
Okay, so, in addition to regular Excel Help that we've always gotten which might have one article on hyperlinks, we're also going to get articles from other.
Now, this just started about a month ago.
So, the end of 2011, they started giving us articles from everybody.
So, in addition to the one article that you would have gotten [ unintelligible – 00:58 ] TRUSTED SITES, you're now getting all sites.
So, you're getting sites by all of your favourite Excel gurus out here, just dozens and dozens of great Excel Help.
So, you might go out to Excel Help and find me here, or find Mike, or find any of the other Excel authors out there with various choices.
I think this is a great idea.
I have to use Adobe products to put the books together.

Adobe Help has been doing this for a while where it offers the official Adobe Help and then also community help, and, most of the time, what I'm finding is in community help.
So, this just made Excel Help so much more powerful.
So, next time you're in a jam, press F1, give it a try, and see what else you can find from the community help right here in the built-in to Excel Help.
This is Excel 2007.
In 2010, both started exhibiting this behaviour, provided you are using the online [ unintelligible – 02:00 ].
Well, hey.
I want to thank you for stopping by.
We’ll see next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
