Missing the Point: Sorting & Filtering
You can scroll through the data in the PowerPivot window. You can sort. You can filter. You can even format, which seems pointless. You cannot print. Although it might be mildly amusing to sort 100 million records in Excel, working in the PowerPivot windows is not what PowerPivot is about. You really need to move on to creating pivot tables.
Two other tools in the PowerPivot window are worth mentioning. If you have imported data from an external source, you can use the Refresh button on the Home tab to reload the data.
