I have a list of part numbers and need to categorize them accordingly
for example certain part numbers have same class by which i sort, so my question is how to assign those class to the part numbers accordingly.

If you need more info I can always provide such thing just respond.

Thank you so much for such a fast acting!

Well here is the full thing.
74 unique part number:

Which could be classified by 5 basic letters such L, H, O, B, S.
My task is to make a formula that would assign letter according to the part number, I have done it already manually in order to have a reference but I need it to have a continuous tracking since those part number will track sales.
I have tried using vlookup, and could not figure it out
Also IF did not work for me as well
