I am looking to have a popup display a value in a specified cell. Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Define "Popup"

I know of no such term in excel vba.

And show value from what cell?

Do you mean Message Box?

And how do you want this Vba script to be activated.

You need to provide details when asking question.

You want a Vba script written that will put the active cell value into a Message Box.
And this script is going to run when you do what?

You have to say what will cause this script to run.

Will you click a button use a shortcut key enter a value into some cell????

You have to tell me what must happen to cause this popup to display.

I will like to have it display when the cell value is changed. The cell I wish to display is using a Index function to return my desired value.

So your saying if any cell value on the entire sheet is changed. You want a message box to popup displaying the value in that cell. Is this correct?

If any value in any cell on the entire sheet is manually change then have a Message Box Popup displaying the value in that cell.

This would mean if any value in all 1.5 million rows and 13,000 columns would be manually changed you want a Message Box to popup showing the value in that cell.

If it can only display when the value in the assigned cell is changed but if any cell is changed and it displayed would work fine
.

You have said now about three times:
"specified cell" and "assigned cel"l.
But you have never said what assigned cell.

What is the assigned cell??????????

If it can only display when the value in the assigned cell is changed but if any cell is changed and it displayed would work fine

Someone else here at Mr. Excel will have to help you.
I just cannot believe what your asking for.

Your saying if you enter "George" in Range("B1") you want a Message Box to popup with "George"
If you enter "Sam" in Range ("G34") you want a Message Box to popup which says "Sam"

I cannot believe anyone would want this.

Why would you want something like this.
